Ashbury Academy for Young MenFounded in 1878 in Kirby, Massachusetts, ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ashbury is one of the leading preparatory schools for the nation's gifted and financially privileged sons. It's located in an affluent suburb just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, across the street from the equally prestigious Ivy Institution for Young Women. The Academy's programs are among the most elite and exclusive, seeking only the best in athletics, arts and sciences. No one applies to The Academy, but nearly two hundred extremely talented young men are invited to attend each year. With it's apartment-style dormitories, Olympic-level gymnasium, award winning music and theater program, Ashbury provides each student with the means to succeed beyond all measures after leaving it's warm and inclusive community.
ashbury revolves around the lives of a select few individuals, focusing on their interpersonal, and often sexual, relationships and the drama that unfolds. This is a growing, slash-only storyline of a preset number of students. Each student is based off of a premade or sterotype, with established storylines to foster interaction and provide a starting point for character growth and exploration.
